To bring their vision to life, we devised a plan to transform their space into a low-maintenance, family-friendly backyard. We’d expand the usable area and replace the thirsty, uneven grass with something that would be lush and green year-round.
From Dry Patch to Dream Backyard Remodel
The transformation into a family-friendly backyard remodel began by clearing the existing natural grass. Removing it not only addressed the maintenance challenge but also prepared the space for the installation of artificial turf. This high-quality turf, complete with infill, offered durability and a realistic look, making it perfect for both children and pets. The new vibrant artificial turf creates a lush, green centerpiece that feels soft underfoot and requires almost no upkeep.
Next, we tackled the backyard’s size limitations. By excavating excess soil and building a sturdy retaining wall, we redefined the boundaries and expanded the usable area. This step maximized functionality, creating ample room for play and relaxation. The expanded area brings a sense of openness and comfort, perfect for a family that values time together outdoors.
